1. About the platform

The CompliMentor is a recognition and mentoring platform operated by Savanth Creative Ventures, a legally registered business based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The platform allows users to give and receive genuine compliments with actionable next steps, connect with mentors, earn verified credentials, and build a visible record of their growth.

The CompliMentor brand and logo are the intellectual property of Savanth Creative Ventures and are protected under applicable trademark law. Trademark application has been filed under Class 41 and Class 42 with the Indian Trade Mark Registry.

2. Eligibility

To use CompliMentor you must be at least 16 years old. By creating an account you confirm that:

• You are 16 years of age or older
• You are providing accurate information about yourself
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• You are not prohibited from using the platform under applicable law

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Savanth Creative Ventures cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation. You must notify us immediately at hello@thecomplimentor.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

CompliMentor is built on genuine human recognition. You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these rules.

You must:

• Give compliments that are genuine, specific, and truthful
• Interact with other users respectfully and in good faith
• Provide accurate information on your profile
• Use the platform in compliance with applicable Indian laws

You must not:

• Give fake, misleading, or deliberately harmful compliments
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate your CompliScore
• Harass, threaten, or bully other users in any way
• Use the platform to spread misinformation or spam
• Attempt to access other users accounts or private data
• Use bots or automated tools to interact with the platform
• Post content that is illegal, obscene, or violates others rights
• Impersonate another person or organisation

5. Content ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create on CompliMentor, including compliments you write and profile information you provide. By posting content on the platform, you grant Savanth Creative Ventures a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and use that content to operate and improve the platform.

You confirm that any content you post does not violate any third-party rights including copyright, privacy, or defamation law.

6. CompliScore and awards

CompliScore is calculated by our platform based on your activity, compliments given and received, mentoring sessions, and awards earned. It is an indicative measure and not a guarantee of any real-world outcome. Savanth Creative Ventures reserves the right to adjust the CompliScore calculation methodology at any time.

Awards issued by verified partner institutions are genuine credentials from those institutions. Awards issued by the CompliMentor community are community-verified recognition. Neither type constitutes an official government-recognised qualification.

7. Moderation and account termination

Savanth Creative Ventures reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms or engage in harmful behaviour. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination except in cases of severe violation.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@thecomplimentor.com. Upon deletion your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The CompliMentor platform is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Savanth Creative Ventures makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the platform. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Savanth Creative Ventures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of CompliMentor shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of CompliMentor shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. We will notify users of significant changes via email and by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
